Make Money with AdSense

Google’s AdSense program has quickly become the dominant model for selling ad space on the internet. With AdSense, a website owner simply copies and pastes small bits of code into the webpage where ads are to appear. Google then automatically analyzes your content to determine which ads are most relevant.
Where AdSense theory meets reality…
In theory, making money with AdSense is simple. But in reality, how much money you make comes down to how well your website is optimized. When someone performs a search using certain keywords Google scans all of its indexed web pages to determine which ones are most relevant. If your site has been properly optimized, it should appear somewhere in Google’s search results.
Making cents versus dollars with AdSense…
You can start making money right away if your content is relevant enough and your site has been properly optimized. How much money is a different matter. At first, you might start seeing daily amounts that range from just a few cents to a dollar so. Ultimately, the money you make from AdSense will be proportionate to the effort you put into writing really good and relevant content. Avoid trying to write about anything and everything under the sun. How the search engines come to see your site as relevant is when they detect a theme among all your web pages. For example, rather than start a site about skin care products, you might focus on only certain types of skin care products, like acne treatment or wrinkle prevention. Writing useful and relevant content is what will draw people to your site…and keep them at your site. The longer these visitors stay at your AdSense site, and the more pages they view, the more likely they are to click on one of your AdSense ads.
Obviously, you want to build a site around keywords that have a certain amount of popularity. But it’s also important that you possess an interest in your chosen subject matter. If you aren’t interested in what you’re writing about then it’s going to show, and your readers will quickly move on to another site. Read the article yourself as if you had just stumbled upon it. Read it out loud. Does it sound like something that would keep your interest? If so, you’re off to a good start.
